Sphere Natural

The design of this hand-shaped Sphere from MAY Furniture Co. captures a sense of motion and combines it with the stillness of the natural world: it was sketched while observing the motion of a bicycle wheel and keeping the growth of a burl on a tree in mind. This sculptural seat is made from OSB plywood—a fully sustainable mix of off-cut material from lumber mills and fast-growing trees like birch and poplar.
